The new Vacationers Handbook is ready!

This is for those of you who are business owners in Gatineau! The Chamber of Commerce of Maniwaki and the Gatineau Valley (CCMGV) has produced once again this year its promotional handbook intended for vacationers in the region. All members of the CCMGV were invited to take part by running an ad to gain exposure to this clientele. This provides a great window of opportunity to create and maintain a link with vacationers, since they have a feeling of belongingness to the region and have a good understanding of the importance of buying locally.

The handbook is about fifteen pages in length and describes various products and services offered along with specific promotions aimed at vacationers. Copies of the handbook were delivered starting the last week of June to the door of some 6,610 cottages on the territory. Vacationers mentioned that one of the best ways of contacting them was to reach out to them directly at their secondary residence (reference: Study on Vacationers in the Gatineau Valley RCM conducted by Zins Beauchesne et associés for SADC in 2014).

The time has now come to give these customers the welcome they deserve. Let’s show them all of the advantages of doing business in the Valley and finding about the products and services our businesses have to offer! The point can be made that the handbook will help boost traffic in businesses in the region.
