Seizing an opportunity to do better through training

The working world is in the throes of total disruption. In early 2020, employee shortages were the subject of conversation, and in a flash, the situation changed. The concern is now what the labour market will look like tomorrow and in the coming months. One thing is for certain – change is coming.

As an employer, the question is how to adapt your management methods and business model under the circumstances. How do you now meet the needs of consumers whose habits are changing? You will not be able to do it alone. Your employees are part of your company’s relaunch. Giving them adequate tools could prove to be a very judicious choice on your part.

Training is one of the tools companies have at their disposal to help them ride out the storm and embrace sunnier times ahead. For entrepreneurs, give some thought to the changes that will continue unabated even when the crisis has been brought under control. How will you adapt to these changes?  Do your employees have all the knowledge and training they need to go about new ways of doing things?

Seize this opportunity to do better by providing training in a variety of areas such as new work procedures, better management skills, e-commerce, improving customer service or any other aspect that could make your employees more productive or raise their qualifications, which, in turn, will give you the employer the tools you need to take on what lies ahead.  To bring such plans to successful completion, you may have access to subsidies from the Programme d’actions concertées pour le maintien en emploi (PACME).
